Job Description

Cork Dental Care currently have an opportunity available for a part time Dental Hygienist to join the team. We were established in 2009 with the aim of helping the people of Cork smile by providing a comprehensive range of dental services and unparallelled patient care at affordable prices and flexible times. Our state-of-the-art dental practice in the heart of Cork city is a full service practice and as well as general dentistry we offer the best in cosmetic dentistry from dental hygiene services to full smile makeovers.

  • Start Date: May 2025 or a later start can be agreed
  • Days and Hours: Wednesday evenings and Saturdays
  • Spacious 3 surgery practice with state of the art equipment
  • Outside parking available to the front of the practice
  • Self-employed Dental Hygienist role

Qualifications :

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Valid dental hygienist license in Ireland
  • CPR certification
  • Proficiency in dental hygiene procedures and oral health assessments
  • Strong knowledge of dental and oral health practices
  • Experience with electronic health records systems
  • Excellent patient education and communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on infection control and safety protocols
  • Ability to operate and maintain dental equipment
  • Understanding of periodontal diseases and treatments
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying current with industry advancements
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Flexibility to work part-time hours in Cork Ireland
