Job Description
Title: Senior Consultant / Advisor
Location: CA 100% onsite
Ekman Associates Inc. is a Southern California based company focused on the following services: Management Consulting Professional Staffing Solutions Executive Recruiting and Managed Services.
Summary: Consultant shall provide advisory services including a developing a Master Plan for WYS.
Responsibility / Objective
The primary objective of this engagement is to develop a comprehensive Master Plan for Fund
Development. This plan will serve as a strategic roadmap aimed primarily at increasing revenue for Western Youth Services (WYS).
Deliverable
By the end of the 90-day contract the Vendor will deliver a finalized Master Plan for Fund
Development incorporating insights gathered throughout the engagement and aligning with WYSs vision and goals.
Scope of Work - Throughout the contract period the Vendors activities will include but not limited to the following:
Organizational Engagement
- Conduct meetings with WYS leadership including Chiefs Directors Managers and Staff to develop a deep understanding of services and internal operations.
- Hold regular touchpoint sessions with the CEO throughout the 90 days to ensure the vision strategic direction and tactical priorities are accurately reflected in the master plan.
- Integrate findings from internal meetings and external outreach into the master plan.
- Other tasks as assigned by the CEO.
External Engagement and Outreach
- Attend relevant networking events (e.g. school board breakfasts luncheons dinners) evening/weekend functions seminars and conferences to promote new business opportunities and philanthropic partnerships.
- Initiate outreach to school district superintendents and board members throughout Orange County to begin representing WYS in the broader educational and community landscape.
- BA/BS in business computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience 10 years of applicable experience in a technology environment preferably for a large company.
- Ability to effectively summarize status and communicate with senior leadership.
- Results-oriented with initiative to work until job is complete .
- Exceptional technical analytical organizational and research skills .
- Detailed oriented and strong communicator.
