Geisinger is seeking an experienced NP to join our NICU team at the Janet Weis Childrens Hospital at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville PA. The Janet Weis Childrens Hospital is the tertiary care Pediatric Center for Geisinger Health System.Job Duties:
Flexible shifts 10 12 16 hours
41 bed Level IV NICU
2000 deliveries annually
No outpatient clinic
Position Details:
Attending deliveries/delivery room management of any infants born in a high-risk category including pre-term birth and other complications affecting pregnancy
Admissions including history and physical
Assessments and ongoing management of current NICU patients
Ground and air transports
Intubation
Central line placement
Chest tubes
Arterial puncture
Arterial line placement
Ventilator management
Whole body cooling for HIE
Others as applicable
Education:
Masters Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)Experience:
