About the role
As a Paid Search Director you will lead the strategic planning execution and optimization of paid search (PPC/SEM) campaigns across various platforms (Google Ads Bing Ads etc.). This role will be responsible for driving performance marketing strategies to achieve business objectives managing budgets mentoring a team and staying ahead of industry trends.
What youll do
- Develop and lead end-to-end paid search strategies across multiple channels.
- Oversee execution of PPC campaigns to ensure performance goals (ROI CPA ROAS) are met or exceeded.
- Manage and mentor a team of paid search managers/specialists fostering a high-performance environment.
- Conduct keyword research campaign planning ad copy creation A/B testing and bid management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SEO Creative Content etc) to align search strategies with broader marketing goals.
- Monitor and report on campaign performance providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Manage large budgets effectively ensuring efficient spend and revenue generation.
- Stay updated on industry trends algorithm changes and new ad products to inform strategy.
- Ensure campaign compliance with brand guidelines and industry regulations.
- Optimize landing pages in collaboration with UX/CRO teams to maximize conversions.
About you
- Bachelors degree in Marketing Business Communications or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in digital marketing with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on paid search.
- Proven track record managing PPC budgets and delivering strong ROI.
- Deep expertise in platforms like Google Ads Bing Ads SA360 and Google Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven marketing strategies.
- Proficiency with bid management tools and platforms (e.g. Marin Kenshoo Skai).
- Experience with eCommerce B2B or lead generation performance marketing campaigns.
- Excellent communication project management and leadership skills.
- Google Ads and/or Microsoft Advertising certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with additional channels (e.g. paid social programmatic) is a plus.
