With a 500% increase in grant funding over the past five years were looking for a strategic and detail-oriented professional to help us sustain and grow this momentum.Youll manage the full grant lifecyclefrom identifying prospects and writing compelling proposals to reporting outcomes and stewarding funder relationships. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced mission-driven environment and is passionate about connecting funders with meaningful impact.Key Responsibilities- Craft approximately 100 persuasive grant proposals letters of intent and reports aligned with JAs mission and funder priorities annually.
- Collaborate with program and finance teams to define goals outcomes and budgets.
- Maintain a comprehensive grant calendar and integrate it into organizational systems.
- Identify and research new funding opportunities.
- Build and nurture relationships with corporate and foundation partners.
- Support key events and donor engagements in the Southeast Region.
- Track grant performance and ensure compliance with funder expectations.
What You Bring- Bachelors degree in English Communications Business Journalism Social Work or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of grant writing and management experience.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management tools.
- Valid Wisconsin drivers license and ability to travel locally.
