Job Description

Work for a Manufacturer in Middlesex County as a Machinist:

*Work with strict manufacturing tolerances to ensure high-quality production performance.
*Maintain and overhaul gearboxes pumps and other production equipment.
*Refurbish and repair tools and measuring instruments to ensure accurate performance.
*Perform tool and die machining tasks using blueprints written procedures and verbal instructions.
*Measure and calculate raw material requirements selecting the appropriate tools equipment jigs and fixtures for each task.
*Catalog organize and issue production tooling to maintain operational efficiency.
*Operate CNC grinders and other tool and die machine shop equipment including lathes Bridgeport welders and plasma cutters.
*Perform quality checks on incoming tooling and take appropriate action.
*Troubleshoot mechanical issues and rebuild tooling for machinery as needed.
*Adhere to safe working practices including lockout and tagout procedures to protect yourself and others.
*Operate plant equipment such as forklifts lifts and booms to assist with production tasks.
*Work with team members and management to improve safety quality and productivity


*High school diploma GED or equivalent trade school required without experience.
*2 years or more of experience in a manufacturing environment.
*Reliable and able to meet deadlines while working with minimal supervision.
