DescriptionThis intern-level position is aimed to help the project team identify user requirements document user stories and otherwise demonstrates the needs that the business users are asking for in the technical development of technology solutions. This is accomplished through requirements gathering activity/deliverable definition for the development teams and other analytic activities that support the development teams and in meeting the business requirements and solution scope. This position will support the design and development of fundamental solutions from the conception to implementation. This is an individual contributor role.
This individual works with divine guidance to provide or support technology that furthers the mission of the Church and reflects the eternal impact of the gospel.
Responsibilities- Elicit represent and communicate requirements through requirement-driven processes written requirements deliverables diagrams flow charts presentations etc.
- Participate in functional testing and validation
- Support requirement-driven processes and best practices
- Initiate the launch of fundamental solutions after the design and development phase
- Encourage a culture of user-centered design and knowledge sharing
- Support the documentation of processes and procedures associated with the technologies being developed
- Support analyst activities as needed.
Qualifications- At least 2 years of undergraduate level coursework completed at an accredited university or college.
- Working knowledge and application of two to four of the following competencies:

- Requirements Management

- Under supervision may perform task-level work that is diverse and requires some complex functional analyst competencies
- Basic knowledge of requirements elicitation and requirement-driven process and best practices
- Familiarity with software needed SaaS products and with requirements and plans
- Organization experience and understanding of technical and operational application functionality
- Effective writing and presentation skills

Preferred:
- Significant understanding and experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Products (at least a level 5 out of 10 competency)
- Experience with Microsoft PowerBI
- Experience with Wiki Publishing
- Experience with developing training materials
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform / Dynamics 365
- Experience with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops
- Strong Recommendations from University Faculty / Staff
- Strong Academic Performance (as shown through GPA / Extracurricular / Project Experience)
