Were seeking a Purchaser to bring their expertise in procurement and supplier management to help our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
About the Role:
In this opportunity as a Purchasing Agent you will:
- Identify and build relationships with new and existing vendors for cost-effective purchasing.
- Negotiate pricing for supplies and services to maximize savings.
- Manage orders for consumables production and office supplies across all departments.
- Collaborate with finance production manufacturing and customer service teams to ensure purchasing needs are met.
- Maintain and enter purchase orders using Radius ensuring proper authorization for each transaction.
About You:
Youre a fit for the role of Purchasing Agent if your background includes:
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing experience; printing/packaging industry experience is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Excel Word Teams and the ability to learn purchasing software (Radius).
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- High school diploma required with the ability to understand and apply pricing concepts such as discounts and ratios.
