JOB DESCRIPTION
Essential Functions
Ensuring optimal analytical testing for the flavor development process including sample preparation sample analysis via GC GC/MS and LC and reporting results to flavor development staff. This role supports forensic analysis of food and beverage products to determine the flavor analyte composition for flavor duplication in various CPG products.

and develop analytical reporting for flavor development for Company
analytical tests on raw materials final products and customer samples concerning previously unknown flavorings their presence storage degradation etc. and recording and maintaining this in the global database.
and standardize solutions reagents and samples according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
in the calibration maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments
a clean safe and organized laboratory environment by following established cleaning protocols including cleaning and properly storing glassware.
laboratory supplies and notify the team when replenishment is required.
and utilize GCA software OpenLab Empower and all required programs to run samples and effectively process data.
sample preparation exercises including extraction and analysis preparation for SPME or direct injection to support the forensic discovery of aroma molecules in food and beverage
consumables to ensure reporting accuracy conducting instrumentation maintenance and developing expertise in new instrumentation sample preparation methods and reporting to expand current capabilities.

Required Qualifications
1.B.S in Chemistry or relative degree.
2.1-3 years of relevant laboratory experience.
