Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps & Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and implementation containerization infrastructure automation and cloud platform management primarily with AWS. Experience with Azure is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and manage scalable and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Build and manage containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize build release and deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure performance scalability and security.
- Implement best practices for logging monitoring and alerting using tools like Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch or ELK Stack.
- Ensure security and compliance of cloud environments using tools like AWS Config IAM Security Hub or GuardDuty.
- Optimize cost and performance of cloud infrastructure through continuous monitoring and refactoring.
- Provide operational support and participate in on-call rotations.
Must-Have Skills:
- 68 years of experience in DevOps SRE or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2 S3 RDS ECS/EKS Lambda CloudFormation etc.
- Proficient in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins GitLab CI AWS CodePipeline or CircleCI.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of IaC tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi.
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g. Bash Python).
- Experience with Git and GitOps workflows.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Exposure to Microsoft Azure services.
- Experience with Ansible Chef or Puppet for configuration management.
- Familiarity with service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
- Experience with observability platforms like Datadog New Relic or Splunk.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
