Type: Hybrid Full-Time

About Our Client

Our client is a European based global leader in the design and manufacturing of industrial pumps With decades of market presence they are committed to delivering proven technology exceptional quality and superior service to clients across various sectors including oil and gas chemical processing and environmental industries.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a Technical Sales Representative will include:

  • Sales and Business Development:
    • Provide expert advice and identify new opportunities and customers in your designated territory.
    • Develop close working relationships with engineering firms contractors end-users and OEMs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for accounts maintaining relationships and driving new business.
  • Product Demonstration and Support:
    • Conduct in-person virtual and trade show demonstrations of various product lines.
    • Provide after-sales support including troubleshooting field service repairs start-ups and training.
  • Client Engagement and Negotiation:
    • Negotiate terms with clients and close sales effectively.
    • Provide weekly and monthly reports including visit reports market updates and sales activities.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:

  • Education & Experience:
    • A post-secondary education preferably in a technical or mechanical discipline.
    • At least 35 years of experience in surface pumps and systems or a similar field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of sales principles methods practices and techniques.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and tools like Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Ability to travel up to 50%.
    • A valid drivers license and a clean driving abstract.
    • Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken) is required.
