Call Center Customer Service Representative - Member Support
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday
Fully Onsite - Zip Code: 90024

Job Summary:

  • Respond to member inquiries using a computerized system and standard scripts
  • Gather information assess caller needs research and resolve issues
  • Provide clear concise information on eligibility provider changes and benefits
  • Follow documented procedures for call handling and escalation
  • Act as an advocate for Medicaid members to ensure their needs are met

Requested Skills:

  • Positive and energetic attitude
  • Clear and confident communication
  • Strong multitasking and time management
  • Excellent attention to detail grammar and spelling

Preferred Experience:

  • 1 year in medical insurance or a medical office setting
  • Experience with data entry and database documentation
  • Previous call center or professional office experience
