Job Description

Senior Clinical Manager

  • Location: Larimer County Colorado at our Garcia House
  • Status: Full time 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Primarily daytime and some nights or weekend may be required and inclusion in on-call rotation
  • Salary Range: $98946 - $118737 annuallybased on relevant years of experience.

Role Overview:

This valuable leader works as a member of the Acute Management team to provide oversight of SummitStones Garcia House Circle Program to meet the needs of our clients who need residential care to manage their substance use disorder and mental illness. Garcia House a 16-bed residential treatment program exists to provide the highest quality care for those with substance use mental illness and often multi-systems involvement. The work you do with our team will directly improve health outcomes by ensuring these crucial residential treatment beds are available to our community.

Essential Duties:

  • Directly manage leaders and residential program staff ensure that clinical service lines are standardized across sites identify opportunities for administrative efficiencies and streamline clinical workflows to maximize capacity.
  • Serves as a primary resource to program staff including case managers clinicians behavioral health technicians nurses providers team leads and supervisors.
  • Provide leadership in residential programs helping to prepare our teams for new and emerging treatments and/or service array changes.
  • Gather data and prepare a variety of reports to assist with evaluating services and capacity and in response to state inquiries or regulations. Ensure accurate records and reporting for all grants/contracts assigned.
  • Oversee the implementation of new clinical projects service lines and/or treatment sites while supervising program managers supervisors team leads and/or assigned behavioral health treatment staff.
  • Maintain close and cooperative relationships with community agencies and other public agencies in carrying out the mission of the organization.
  • Contributes to leadership planning process and assists to drive policy and procedure changes when necessary for program improvement.
  • Contribute to organization Continuous Quality Improvement process to identify analyze and trend quality issues related to overall patient care. Collaborate to identify and implement successful solutions.
  • Collaborate with staff to improve processes and procedures. Coach staff and management through necessary changes.
  • Evaluate staff performance for all direct reports address performance issues resolve conduct and ethical issues and carry out disciplinary action when needed. Provide technical assistance training and coaching in clinical and administrative areas. Continually reward recognize and develop staff. Develop and foster team values with staff.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in counseling psychology social work business nursing or related field from an accredited college or university required.
  • More than five years of experience in the Mental Health field substance use disorder field or program of application in a leadership role required.
  • More than three years of experience in a supervisory role (clinical/administrative) required More than one year of experience with mild to severe mental illness and substance use disorders required.
  • More than one year of experience in program development and managing clinical projects required.

Preferences:

  • Colorado Clinical Mental Health License (LCSW LPC LMFT) preferred.
  • CAC III or LAC preferred.
  • Bilingual/bi-cultural preferred.
