Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Manager
In this role you will:
- Manage and develop a team of individual contributors in planning coordinating and executing data research projects or results oriented intelligence that supports line of business or companywide business objectives
- Identify and recommend strategies for developing and utilizing technical or analytic resources to enable initiatives that predict improve support and measure business success
- Interpret and develop strategies that maximize profits or asset growth and minimize credit losses operating losses and other risk exposures
- Ensure adherence to data management and data governance regulations and policies and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers colleagues and multiple level managers to ensure effective consultation and recommendations based on data analysis
- Provide leadership to the department in the identification and development of innovative research concepts and designs
- Work with clients to define issues and information needs and translate them into specific data and technical requirements to support business initiatives and projects
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications:
- 4 years of Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience in Analytics or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education
- Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Financial Crimes Operational Risk Fraud Sanctions Anti-Bribery Corruption experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience training military experience education.
- Project Management development strategic planning process management change delivery or equivalent experiences.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas to non-quantitative colleagues in a concise and clear fashion.
- Ability to execute in a fast-paced high-demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience in managing reporting or analytics operations preferably within financial crimes or risk management.
- Management or leadership experience; Proven leadership success recruiting inspiring developing coaching and motivating team members through balanced leadership with a focus on team member engagement and retention and performance management.
- Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications and the ability to construct PowerPoint presentations for executive communications.
- Familiarity with visualization and analytics tools (e.g. Alteryx SQL Tableau Qlik Sense).
- Experience building relationships across lines of businesses and geographies influencing partners as well as providing credible and effective challenge.
- Preferred Financial Crimes Certifications Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (ACAMS) or Certified BSA/AML Professional (CBAP)
Job Expectations:
The Management Information & Reporting (MI&R) Operations Manager plays a strategic role in delivering key reporting for Financial Crimes Risk Management (FCRM). The role will oversee MI&R Book of Work manage the delivery of Reporting inventory and facilitate ad-hoc requests.
This role will manage MI&R Analytics and Visualization teams ensuring effective and consistent delivery of reporting solutions. The role is responsible for the escalation process and maintaining a high standard of quality in deliverables.
- Manage and develop a highly specialized MI team with focus on delivering relevant reporting to cross functional stakeholders and internal partners associated with the functional area or who are affected by its outcomes.
- Collaborate with US MI&R Delivery Leads to support business priorities and coordinate reporting outputs from MI&R Analytics and Visualization.
- Act as a process and escalation point. Inform peers lines of business and external partners on trends risks and challenges; ensures issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.
- Partner with transformation teams to support the development and implementation of data infrastructure projects.
- Implement robust processes for consistent delivery of reporting solutions aggregate project and task tracking
- Understand the whole of data management risk for FCRM including effective onboarding source expansion data violations and ongoing remediation efforts.
- Ensure the successful delivery of reports and dashboards meeting quality standards and timelines.
- Maintain a high level of coordination across geographies ensuring smooth operations.
- Address escalations and roadblocks promptly and effectively.
- Lead the continuous improvement of reporting processes and workflows.
