This is a permanent full time and hybrid role working from home and the office.
The role:
Join us on the forefront of innovation! As a C Software Developer(Application Support)at Verra Mobility youll support and maintain the software layer of our existing technology products including our windows applications for our flagship road safety camera software. Were seeking an innovation enthusiast with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills and a passion forC programmingcollaborating with cross-functional teams. As an Application Support Engineer at Verra Mobility you will work on:
- Incident management:Respond to and troubleshoot support tickets incidents and service requests related to applications across our tech stack(C C# .Net Visual Studio).
- Monitoring and Alerting:ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure responding to issues minimizing downtime.
- Technical Support:Provide end-users with technical support answering queries guiding through troubleshooting and maintaining documentation for common issues and solutions.
- Database Management:Monitor and maintain the health of the Postgres database collaborating with developers to optimise queries for improved overall database performance.
- Knowledge Sharing:Contribute to a knowledge base for effective information sharing within the team.
- Root Cause Analysis:Conduct root cause analysis for major incidents suggesting and implementing improvements to prevent their recurrence through continuous improvement efforts.
Who are you
As an Application Support Engineer with4 yearsof experience a degree in Computer Science and proficiency inC C# .Net Visual Studio SVN.technologies you bring strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your commitment to customer advocacy goal-oriented approach and ability to work independently or collaboratively make you an ideal fit. With expertise in Jira and Confluence you navigate and resolve software issues efficiently. Your well-developed communication skills contribute to effective problem resolution and while knowledge of radar signal processing is advantageous its not a requirement.
