Hastings Deering is on the hunt for a Credit Officer to join our award-winning team in Archerfield Brisbane. This is a Permanent Monday to Friday role.
As a Credit Officer you will:
- Conduct customer account reviews and maintenance for assigned customers along with contacting assigned customers to discuss overdue accounts & follow up regarding overdue outstanding accounts
- Resolve disputed transactions with customers within target timeframe and engage relevant stakeholders
- Review and release held orders and approve trading limits within authorised level
- Complete and return all reports to the Credit Team Leader
- Respond to customer and stakeholder email and telephone enquiries.

About You
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Previous collection experience working within a complex and diversified organisation
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to form relationships with internal and external customers
- Work effectively in a team environment with a willingness to support other team members to achieve required outcomes.
- An openness to adapting to change.
- Strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated experience in analysing and evaluating financial information with strong technical / mathematical background
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
