DEFINITION:
Under supervision to assist in any area of food preparation in a school kitchen in a sanitary and orderly condition and to do related work as required. Capable of working independently and working with others. The complexity of the work may not be limited to established rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. Preferably supplemented by the completion of courses in home economics or homemaking.
2. EXPERIENCE: Food preparation in quantity and kitchen maintenance is preferred.
3. Valid food handler card.
