King County Metro Talent Acquisitionteam seeks to fill one full-time Special Duty Assignment (SDA) Talent Advisor (HR Analyst)to help us recruit and hire a talented diverse workforce to meet the current and future needs of our growing and changing organization. We are looking for an outstanding customer service-oriented individualwho is committed to diversity and social justice and excited to source and recruit for the best large transit agency in North America.

Who May Apply

This recruitment is open to current King County career service employees. However only employes that have completed the probationary period in their current career service position are eligible for hire. Thie duration of this Special Duty Assignments (SDA)position will be up to four months with the possibility of extension.This position will support the Rail Division with their hiring efforts. Additionally this recruitment may be used to establish an eligibility pool for future SDA vacancies in this workgroup job classification and other workgroups. The eligibility pool will be retained for 12 months from the posting date and may be used at the discretion of the hiring authority.

Job Duties

  • Working knowledge and proficiency with PeopleSoft & NEOGOV applicant tracking system.
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with Metro (MTD) policies and procedures.

Supplemental Information

Selection Process
Applicants will be screened for competitiveness completeness and written communication skills to determine the most qualified candidates. The process may include the following: a review of the application and supplemental questions testing and/or panel interview and references.NOTE:Applications that do not include the required materials may be considered incomplete and will not be considered.

Work Schedule
This hybrid role involves a mix of remote work and on-site responsibilities with an expectation of being in the office for meetings tasks and assignments as needed. This position is covered under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay. Work schedule is normally Monday through Friday 40-hour work week. Variations may be required depending on the demands and training needs of the work.

Work Location
The incumbent will have a hybrid work schedule and may work remotely and onsite. The primary onsite location is King Street Center 201 S. Jackson Street Seattle Washington.

Teleworking Requirement
The work associated with this position is currently being performed in a hybrid fashion including teleworking complemented with onsite work and meetings as needed. Frequency of onsite work will vary based on business and operational needs. Employees must reside in Washington State and within a reasonable distance to their King County worksite to respond to workplace reporting requirements.

tools and resourcesto support working remotely. Employees will be provided with a County issued laptop and must maintain a home workspace with an internet connection where they can reliably perform work and remain available and responsive during scheduled work hours.
