Senior Data Scientist (The Prudential Insurance Company of America Newark NJ)
Develop and maintain consultative relationships with key business stakeholders; Identify source transform and join public proprietary and internal data sources; Model large structured and unstructured data sources (e.g. financial transactional time-series text speech/audio and image); Implement advanced statistical methods for prediction and optimization including a wide variety of machine learning technologies (logit regression decision trees/forests boosted models clustering etc.) for purposes including explorative analysis survival analysis segmentation prediction and recommendation systems; Perform analysis and implement solutions that maximize business impact; Prepare and present written and verbal reports to key stakeholders; Execute all aspects of an advanced analytical project under guidance.
Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week $170373.00 per year.
Full time employment Monday Friday 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Masters degree in Statistics Data Science Computer Science or a related field and 4 years of related work experience. Alternatively a PhD in Statistics Data Science Computer Science or a related field and 1 year of related work experience will be accepted.
Of the required experience must have 1 year of experience in all of the following:
Telecommuting: Telecommuting permitted up to 60% per week.
