Supervisor and Team Lead - Recycle BC Rural

Inventa is a leader in the design creation and execution of innovative brand experiences from large scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Now in our 29th year we are at the forefront in the experiential marketing and event space.

Are you an avid recycler Love working with people Love attending events Inventa is looking for outgoing and energetic Team Leads and Supervisors to lead the Recycle BC Rural Tour this summer! Our team will be appearing at multiple open air events form June September to talk to community members about how their items get recycled in BC. The team will take guests through photo opportunities quizzes to find their Recycling Personality type and answering tricky questions about Recycling!

To excel in this role you will have strong customer service skills and sense of leadership in addition to having open availability for training and shifts (outlined below). Previous experience is required as well as experience with customer service and public relations.

Team Lead Responsibilities:

• Secondary manager of team

• Secondary liaison with Accounts team onsite contacts and clients

• Provide onsite training to Brand Ambassador

• Delegating tasks and breaks to team

• Active participation in set up and tear down of footprint and assets

• Active participation in unpacking and repacking of truck and all assets within crates using blankets ratchet straps and other equipment to ensure safety/minimal movement during transit

• Speak publicly and address large groups. Provide leadership and facilitate a wide variety of activities while delivering key messaging.

• Collect and maintain records of interactions & comments.

• Manage supply and maintenance of brand ambassador materials all tour assets etc.

• Drive and manage rental vehicle/SUV/van/truck for events and deliveries

• Represent the program with dignity and professionalism at all times and maintain a positive empathetic and professional manner towards team members and public

• Maintain thorough knowledge of Inventas Brand Partnership and Brand Ambassador policies and procedures

• Ensure that company standards and protocols are followed and take corrective action as needed for continuous improvement

• All expenses must be approved and cleared by Supervisor and Accounts team prior to purchasing

• Must provide before and after pictures of odometer for proof of mileage

• Other duties as assigned

Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Direct manager of team

• Direct liaison with Accounts team onsite contacts and clients

• Provide onsite training to all staff

• Delegating tasks and breaks to team

• Manage all elements of the activation including but not limited to:

• Organize and oversee the set-up and takedown of the activation

• Organize and oversee the unpack and repack of truck and all assets within crates using blankets ratchet straps and other equipment to ensure safety/minimal movement during transit

• Speak publicly and address large groups. Provide leadership and facilitate a wide variety of activities while delivering key messaging.

• Collect and maintain records of interactions & comments. Create consolidated weekly reports to share with account management team

• Manage supply and maintenance of brand ambassador materials all tour assets etc.

• Drive and manage rental vehicle/SUV/van/truck for events and deliveries including refueling washing and monitoring/reporting vehicle status for maintenance

• Represent the program with dignity and professionalism at all times and maintain a positive empathetic and professional manner towards team members and public

• Maintain thorough knowledge of Inventas Brand Partnership and Brand Ambassador policies and procedures

• Ensure that company standards and protocols are followed and take corrective action as needed for continuous improvement

• All expenses must be approved and cleared by Accounts team prior to purchasing

• Must provide before and after pictures of odometer for proof of mileage

• Other duties as assigned

Mandatory Requirements:

• Ability to lift 30-40 pounds and to set up and tear down all tour elements at the venue

• Traveling team must have a full and valid class 5 drivers license with clean drivers abstract

• All expenses must be approved and cleared by Accounts team prior to purchasing

• Supervisors and TL must be comfortable driving a cargo van long distances and on highway

• All local staff must commute to specified location with their own modes of transport

Training Dry run: June 2

Date range: June 21 September 8 2025

Pay Rate:

• Team Lead: $26/hr

• Supervisor: $28/Hr

• Additional compensation: Per diem Hotel Accommodation Travel rate and bonus
