Job Description
ENTEK is seeking applications for a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to join us on-site at our Henderson Nevada location (relocation within 40 miles of Henderson is required).
- Leads a team of design engineers to produce innovative and reliable designs.
- Manages complex engineering projects to meet time and budget targets and client expectations.
- Communicates with clients to identify their needs and develop and finalize the scope and specifications for engineering projects.
- Develops budgets and monitor actual expenses to ensure project costs are kept within budget; find reduction cost pathways.
- Writes a complete project scope for engineering projects in collaboration with technical leads
- Reports on engineering project status schedule updates and budget to stakeholders.
- Provides technical engineering support to sales department and purchasing department.
- Designs steam systems machine tools material handling systems piping and industrial production equipment used in manufacturing in collaboration with other engineers and designers.
- Follow Lean manufacturing processes utilizing tools such as Kaizens 5S RIEs and other work area standards.
- Oversees and coordinates activities involved in fabrication operation application installation and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems.
- Supervises contractors on-site/off-site to ensure budgetary planning and safety parameters are followed.
- Manages the workflow of supervised employees creates schedules and project assignments trains new hires assesses employee performance and ensures and maintains teams safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
Requirements
- Regional national and international travel required up to 15% of the time.
- Candidate must be available to work on weekends and holidays on short notice.
