The role
We are hiring for a Technical Solutions Engineer with strong web development skills and experience delivering technically complex client projects.
Our Technical Solutions Engineers work collaboratively with other Customer Success teams to enable our clients to maximise the value of Permutives platform. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is excited at the prospect of joining a fast-paced environment where they can shape processes with technical solutions.
The team
Our Global Technical Services team is composed of creative and technical innovators who love to help our customers achieve their goals. They are a combination of technical project managers and engineers who work closely with our clients and provide guided solutions to their problems. The team is positioned at the cross-function of commercial product and engineering which allows for the unique opportunity to bring innovative products directly to the customer.
Our Technical Solutions Engineering team helps Permutives customers implement deploy integrate and support bespoke setups and solutions. We accomplish this by working closely with Customer Success Managers to understand each clients strategy priorities and pain points while aligning with Product to scope new feature requests. TSEs also operate with a book of business providing top-tier service for certain strategic customers. Finally we collaborate closely with our Engineering team to bring the solution to fruition.
What youll be doing
Own the product implementation for our newly signed publisher and broadcaster clients through technical onboarding and customer collaboration
Closely manage and build relationships with a list of dedicated accounts
Handling a diverse range of questions and requests from customers via our Zendesk ticketing system
Taking the helm of internal escalations from other members of the Permutive organisation
Providing feedback and customer needs to our Product and Engineering teams
Joining company and team get-togethers to meet plan and work together in person
Conversing on calls with customers to discuss problems solutions and/or to gather technical requirements for enhancements to our suite of products
Developing custom solutions on top of the Permutive infrastructure to solve client business and team efficiency needs
You may also be asked to travel to meet with customers as needed to support Client Partners and business needs
What youll need...
Proven commercial experience in a technical customer-facing or role.
A strong understanding of JavaScript (preferably TypeScript) and Web Development.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders including customers on calls.
The ability to work both independently and collaboratively with other teams.
A thoughtful curious and problem-solving attitude to your work.
Previous experience using a ticketing system through customer service software.
Familiarity or experience running SQL queries.

Permutive trusts you to manage your time and deliver results. Our hybrid model allows you to choose where you work best whether in your own productive space or our London (Farringdon) or New York (Union Square) offices. That said none of us work alone; we are part of a team.
To foster collaboration and connection teams in these locations come together in person at least once a week and are encouraged to benefit from being in our offices to meet with teams more often. Commercial and customer-facing teams are encouraged to embrace in-person interactions to build lasting relationships with clients and colleagues.
Every Permutive employee gets together in person at the companys Annual Kick Off for a week in February. Each years event promises to be an exciting opportunity for us to come together reconnect with colleagues and align on our shared vision for the year ahead.
