We are currently seeking a highly experienced and charismatic Restaurant General Manager to conduct the symphony of The Spence and who intuitively knows how to pre-empt the needs of our members guests and team. Diverse ambitious and welcoming youll have an inherent desire to create unique and incredible experiences. The successful candidates leadership skills will be matched by their technical expertise and passion for service.

The on target earning potential for this role is 47490 per annum - comprising a base salary of 37490 plus a qualified estimate of 10000 in gratuities and service charge.* As a member of the Gleneagles team you will also enjoy a fantastic range of perks benefits and rewards.

• Youll take pride in playing host to our guests and will lead the restaurant floor from the front overseeing all of our food and beverage outlets from breakfast in the Spence to late night drinks in the Note Burning rooms
• Instinctively reading the room anticipating and fulfilling the expectations of our guests; always warm thoughtful professional and well groomed playing your part in ensuring luxury service is our signature
• Engaging motivating and inspiring a strong and passionate team youll ensure they consistently deliver exceptional service and leave our guests spell-bound by the magic and theatre of the experiences they create
• Developing strong relations with our Culinary team youll work together to demonstrate that shared passion clear communication and living our values is what truly galvanises the team and drives excellence
• Nurturing and developing our talent ensuring that your passion and expertise is lived through others
• Youll be instilling a culture of continuous development and innovation identifying new ways to surprise and delight your guests and your people
• Working hand-in-hand with our People Manager youll be driving exceptional team engagement training and development and recruitment
• Being financially astute and able to run a profitable department youll take full accountability for the profitability and performance of your business end to end.
• Interacting with our guests always warm professional helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us 5 star in every way

• You have fantastic experience in a similar role and whilst you enjoy the theatre and stage youre modest understated and without ego; you care for others as much as you care for yourself and role model this consistently
• Energised and fuelled by a high paced operation and equally high expectations; youre resilient and skilled at managing multiple and often competing priorities
• You possess a positive professional and courteous attitude always see a glass half-full and are consistent in your mood manner and behaviour.
• Intuitively you put yourself in the shoes of others whether that be your guests or your people; no matter how many times an issue has been presented to you you recognise that to this person its likely a first
• An early bird some days and a night owl other youll be working flexibly during the week and weekends leading from the front and by example
• You have an exceptional and discerning eye for detail and take pride in fixing the small things that make a big difference always with a positive can do attitude to solving problems
• You have high expectations of yourself and others and you drive high performance and ensure others are brought on the journey with you
• People focused you have a compelling desire to grow and nurture team members through coaching and training
• Highly motivated and possessing an immense sense of pride in your work; youre passionate about delivering the high standards for our guests in line with the Gleneagles brand

• Gratuities (tips) and service charge (an additional charge added to our room rates and services across the hotel that is passed directly to our employees) are paid on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role.
