Summer Experience Program Position - Temporary/Full-Time

Location: DSB1 location / Hybrid

Reporting to: Manager of Building Services

Start date: Required June 2 2025 until August 22 2025

Vacancy Details: 35 hours/week - 8:00am to 4:00pm

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collecting reviewing verifying and documenting information to support various programs in the Facilities Department
  • Successful candidate will collect and document inventory (furniture equipment systems) at facilities across the Board.
  • Data will be reviewed verified and logged into database.
  • Data and documentation will be organized and prioritized in order to define the needs required by the Board.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Working towards a degree from an accredited university or diploma from an accredited college
  • Team player with good interpersonal and oral communication skills
  • Shall work cooperatively and effectively with other staff and supervisors
  • Excellent analytical and organization skills
  • Proficient in technical skills with a knowledge of computer systems (Excel Word Database)
  • AutoCAD knowledge is an asset ; database knowledge is an asset
  • Valid Ontario drivers license
  • Must have a current Board approved WHMIS Certificate
  • A Vulnerable Sector Screening is required for anyone 18 or older
