Description

SUMMARY

The International Account Manager will manage key customer relationships and is directly responsible for the preservation of SIFCOs current customer base and identifying new opportunities to service our customers. The International Account Manager will manage customer order books act as the primarycommunication focal point and voice of the customer within the company andidentify new opportunities through building a long-term relationship.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for order book management:

  • Ensures order and schedule accuracy and alignment through pricing modifications quantity revisions and delivery reschedules in the system for the benefit of internal and external customers.
  • Processes order changes blanket orders release modification and product specification communications.
  • Leads problem resolution efforts with customers regarding new orders order changes and order status.
  • Manages customer portals and performs customer demand analysis.
  • Participates in daily ship plan meetings to represent the voice of the customer.
  • Effectively partners with various departments and communicates order information to the appropriate areas.
  • Manages the customer delivery scorecard.

Responsible for developing and maintaining a positive customer relationship:

  • Develops relationships and provides professional after-sales support to enhance the customers dedication.
  • Represents the customer and is responsible for providing the highest service through understanding of the customer accurate data transmission integrity of commitment and positive image of the Company.
  • Identify opportunities through forming long term partnerships with assigned customer and drive conversion of opportunities through the Regional Sales Managers.
  • Resolves complaints and issues in a timely manner aiming to customer contentment and the preservation of the Companys reputation.

All other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serves as back up supervisor of the Account Management Department when the Sales Director is out of office. Has the desire and capability to develop into Account Management Lead in the near term.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • 3 years experience as an Account Executive or in other sales/customer service role in manufacturing
  • Bachelors degree preferably in business sales or marketing and/or equivalent level of experience
  • Experience working with International Customers preferred
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate to resolve problems effectively
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office; ERP knowledge required; SAP is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Must demonstrate the ability to multi-task have organizational and time-management skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations
  • Enthusiastic and passionate
  • Must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy
  • ble to work independently to drive results

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence professionally and without error. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization in a professional manner utilizing proper English.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages and to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram from. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit use hands and fingers handle or feel and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. Must be able to walk up/down stairways without assistance.
