Job Description
Job Title: Medical Billing Specialists
Location: Wilmington Delaware
Job Type: Part-Time
Overview: Our client a leading mental health clinic is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Billing Specialist to join their administrative team in Wilmington Delaware. The ideal candidate will be responsible for submitting medical claims to insurance companies and patients and ensuring accurate and timely reimbursement for medical services provided in the office.
Job Duties:
*Review and verify accuracy of billing and coding
*Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
*Follow up on unpaid claims within the standard billing lifecycle timeframe
*Resolve billing issues and denials
*Utilize medical billing software to process claims
*Maintain patient billing records
*Stay current on insurance guidelines and regulations
Job Requirements:
*Proficiency in medical terminology ICD-9/ICD-10 and DRG coding systems
*Demonstrated experience with medical billing collections and claims processing
*Knowledge of medical office procedures and practices
*Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Office Hours: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Work Location: On-Site
Pay: $22.00-24.00/hour
