Responsibilities
In this new role as an Assistant Nurse Manager at Clovis Community youll apply the leadership and administrative skills you developed at the bedside to support our Level II NICU. Our NICU cares for infants born as early as 32 weeks gestation and provides a higher level of care without needing to transfer babies to another facility. Recognized by The Joint Commission for excellence in perinatal care Clovis Communitys NICU fosters a compassionate family-centered environment where parents are encouraged to partner in their infants care.
Your direct contribution to Communitys mission is evident in how you coordinate patient care foster staff development drive performance improvements and ensure operational efficiency. As a member of the unit leadership team the Assistant Nurse Manager is an exempt-level role scheduled 8-hour shifts.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree of Science in Nursing (BSN or MSN)
- RN Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California
- BLS Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA)
- NRP National Resuscitation Program
- NICRNC Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse
