Team Accountant
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Part-Time Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This role supports the month-end close process prepares journal entries reconciles accounts manages accounts payable and revenue reporting and ensures financial data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP be proficient in Excel and demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position is 20-25 hours per week offering flexibility while contributing to key accounting functions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 4-5 years of accounting experience preferably in a corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables VLOOKUP etc.) and experience with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite).
- Knowledge: Solid understanding of GAAP P&L statements financial reporting and the month-end close cycle.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus.
