Account Executive

INNOCEAN USA a full-service advertising agency located in Huntington Beach CA is looking for an Account Executive to join our growing team!

This is a hybrid role; we are currently x2 days week in-office. Local candidates only please.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Account Management team works with the El Pollo Loco marketing clients to identify business needs that translates to clear assignments for the agency team. Account Managers will work with agency departments to develop internal creative briefs guide process from ideation to delivery and manage client relationship including reviews/approvals and project status along the way. Account Managers are also responsible for managing budgets and timing and ensuring all assignments deliver on business needs and meet client expectations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for an Account Executive to come in and help us out on a fun QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) brand! The Account Executive position requires the ability to effectively manage projects from start to finish while demonstrating the ability to organize workload and workflow through coordination of agency activities and client contact.

The Account Executive is responsible for the day-to-day execution of programs and/or projects associated with the El Pollo Loco business and ensuring that work is on strategy on time and within budget.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Foster effective efficient and/or innovative solutions to improve upon day-to-day processes.
  • Leads and manages the day-to-day feedback approval and hand off of the campaign print deliverables FSI (Free Standing Insert) and POP (Point of Purchase)
  • Leads and manages the day-to-day feedback approval and hand off of the campaign social and display deliverables
  • Is knowledgeable about the brand the products QSR market conditions & dynamics and competitors.
  • Prepare accurate and timely internal communication: conference reports job starters assignment summaries.
  • Monitor project estimates vs. time and cost including maintaining up-to-date accurate budget tracking as required. Responsible for alerting the senior team of any potential cost issues.
  • Prepare and distribute project and creative trackers/summaries to clients
  • Anticipate and proactively make the Senior Account team member aware of any and all expectation issues.
  • Responsible for management of weekly client and IAT (Integrated Agency Team) status documents
  • Supports in IAT communications; sharing creative updates and client feedback across clients key partner agencies (media PR influencer etc)
  • Assist in the development of client presentations as requested.
  • Serve as assignment expert who knows the details of job status.
  • Assist with the scheduling arranging and coordinating of meetings as requested.
  • Responsible for the uploads and organization of all creative assets and final deliverables.
  • Monitor competitive activity and conduct competitive reviews/analyses with the strategy team on a monthly basis.
  • Support Senior Account Executive and Group Account Director

DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years in a full-service advertising agency
  • Knowledge of regional and/or retail operations is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong time management organizational and project management skills as well as the ability to balance multiple assignments and set priorities.
  • Must be computer proficient with working knowledge of the MS Office Suite.

The salary for this role is $68000 - $75000. Pay is dependent uponseveralfactorsincluding but not limited to: clientexperience training and/or transferable skills.
