Join Our Summer Team as a Behavioral Technician at Camp Watchaug!
The Ocean Community YMCA is hiring **Behavioral Technicians** for Summer 2025 at **Camp Watchaug** in Charlestown RI!
Help us create an inclusive fun and safe camp experience for children and teens with emotional developmental and intellectual disabilities. As a key member of our summer team youll support participants in building confidence life skills and friendships through active participation in YMCA camp activities.
**What Youll Do:**
* Work one-on-one or in small groups with campers needing extra support
* Use positive behavior techniques to promote inclusion and personal growth
* Collaborate with camp staff to create a full and enriching camp experience
* Provide personal care if needed in a safe and supportive environment
**What Youll Need:**
* Must be at least 18 years old
* High school diploma or equivalent
* CPR/AED/First Aid/Emergency Oxygen Administration Certifications-YMCA willing to train
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (1 year preferred)
* Enthusiasm reliability and a passion for youth development
