Raytheon Finance is hiring for the Naval Air Missiles Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

Reporting to the Naval Air Missiles CFO this role includes but is not limited in responsibility for financial planning & analysis of 1.5B/yr in annual revenue leading the portfolios core financial process (annual plans quarterly and monthly forecasts weekly outlooks) as well ad hoc requests from Sr Leadership.

This role is involved in all aspects of the business including evaluating analyzing and reporting of Bookings Sales Earnings Cash Balance Sheet management including inventories and CFRs and all discretionary spending including IR&D New Business Investment Capital Overhead and Pooled labor.

This is a role with high visibility as it regularly interfaces with Sr Leadership within the Naval Air (SSBU)/Naval Power (SBU) and speaks for the Naval Air CFO in their absence. This role will lead and be responsible for continued development of a high performing Financial Planning and Analysis team.

This position is currently designated as Onsite. However the successful candidate will be required to work onsite from one of the following Raytheon locations McKinney TX El Segundo CA Aurora CO or Tucson AZ.

What You Will Do

  • Managing the financial operating cadence of the SSBU (setting the review calendar organizing the deliverables) delivering real-time insights into emerging trends in labor and material and providing actionable insights for the Naval Air Missiles Leadership team.
  • Requires advanced business knowledge general management and leadership capability to lead business or functional teams.
  • Experience developing annual / strategic financial and investment plans driving rigorous forecasting and variance process and developing mitigation strategies to achieve financial results.
  • Ability to collaborate with Senior LT across various Functions and Product Areas for plan / forecast / Action item closure.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in a changing business environment and highly responsive to Sr Leadership requested analysis briefings and data calls.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
  • Prior experience in an FP&A role.
  • Prior management experience leading / managing employees.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience working Aerospace / Defense programs.
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and develop and apply solutions and process improvements.
  • Working knowledge of SAP and other industry standard financial tools.

Additional Information

  • This position is grade M5 Senior Manager Financial Planning & Analysis.
  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.
  • Relocation assistance is not available.

The salary range for this role is 124000 USD - 250000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and/or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
