Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and executing projects aligned with the credit unions strategic goals and operational objectives. This includes detailed planning budget oversight resource allocation and cross-departmental coordination. The Project Manager will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver projects on schedule within scope & budget and provide regular updates to leadership.
- Develops comprehensive project plans outlining scope goals deliverables timelines and required resources. Executes project plans monitoring project progress and making necessary adjustments to accommodate changes and mitigate risks. Allocates resources effectively assign tasks and holds team members accountable.
- Organizes and leads regular project meetings providing clear agendas and capturing detailed notes and action items. Communicates project updates clearly and effectively to project teams and stakeholders. Identifies manages and escalates project risks and issues promptly providing recommended solutions.
- Works closely with leadership to ensure project alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitates stakeholder engagement consensus-building and decision-making processes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manages the handoff process upon project completion clearly defining ownership and facilitating smooth transition to business owners. Collaborates with training and the appropriate stakeholders to ensure comprehensive training materials and documentation are created; and distributed.
