JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

CSFWS is a community service/service-learning program providing employment opportunities to eligible undergraduate and graduate students at nonprofit government and community-based sites for these positions are coordinated with the support and recommendation of the Penn State Dickinson Law staff. The payrate for these positions is $15/hour for up to 40 hours per week.
The starting hourly rate for this job is $15.00.
Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus orremotely if possibleand at the discretion of the employer. Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988 Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security such as those concerning alcohol and drug use crime prevention the reporting of crimes sexual assault and other matters.
