We are currently seeking an Research & Development Manager to lead Kimberly-Clark Professional s North America Dispenser Team. This role will drive technology exploration and early product design of delivery systems across the Restroom consumables portfolio. The role will be based in Roswell GA and report to the Senior R&D Manager of Dispensers & Onvation.

In this role you will:

  • Lead a team through the exploration and early design of novel technologies and delivery systems across North America.

  • Provide the strategic vision and decision-making to ensure best-in-class delivery system performance and appearance.

  • Identify and partner with internal and external design and development partners that can assist in achieving program objectives.

  • Manager budgets and forecasting resources.

  • Complete administrative tasks associated with team leadership including performance management and objectives setting.

  • Communicate and document project plans and results to key stakeholders across the globe.

  • Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert in Design Controls and Change Management.

  • A Bachelors or advanced degree in a related major scientific field or engineering discipline from an accredited college or university required.

  • 10 years of experience in a variety of technical assignments required.

  • Demonstrated ability to balance technical and managerial responsibilities in complex programs.

  • A track record of strong project leadership capabilities including an ability to communicate to and manage stakeholders globally.

  • Capability in developing strong customer solutions starting from stakeholder requirements through design validation and design transfer.

  • Advanced technical thinker evaluating cutting edge technologies for application within Kimberly-Clark.

  • Experience with product development and commercialization activities related to plastics and injection molding and IoT systems strongly preferred.

  • Experience in quality systems and design for manufacture practices preferred.

  • Experience working cross-functionally with business unit marketing and sales team preferred.

  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors preferred.

  • Previous team leadership experience strongly preferred.

Salary Range:USD

At Kimberly-Clark pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve thrive and grow. Along with base pay this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as location role skills performance and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
