The Manager Enterprise Audio Visual is responsible for QTS Global Audio-Visual design engineering support and operations. This role will manage AV installations develop AV standards oversee equipment maintenance and support all company locations and room types. The Manager Enterprise Audio Visual will lead defining and refining internal AV processes as well as work cross-collaboratively on building and implementing QTS go-forward Enterprise AV strategy. This role must partner with the C-Suite and Communications team on high profile corporate events and meetings to ensure smooth delivery of business value through AV. This is a highly visible role and the individual must build rapport across the organization. This manager will build the team processes and technology to ensure a consistent and reliable AV experience for users and customers while also leading a team of AV engineers.
RESPONSIBILITIES other duties may be assigned.
Develop and enforce AV standards across the global QTS organization to ensure consistency and quality in all AV installations and operations.
Lead AV projects in coordination with QTS project management teams with keen attention to detail from proposal phase through commissioning including new installations equipment refreshes and system upgrades.
Partner with cross-functional teams (Property Development and Enterprise IT) for new data center builds and refreshes coordinating installation and ensuring successful on-time commissioning.
Manage multiple AV vendors effectively in partnership with QTS Procurement and PMOs.
Manage maintenance and support of all AV systems including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of AV equipment.
Lead and mentor a team of AV professionals providing world class support guidance and development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture always looking for ways to improve.
Conduct training sessions for users on AV equipment and systems. Provide ongoing support and education to enhance user experience and productivity.
Stay up to date on the latest AV technologies and trends. Evaluate and recommend new tools and equipment to improve AV services.
Create and manage a roadmap of larger AV projects and initiatives to provide updates to executive level read out.
