Job Description

We empower organizations to optimize capital investments improve project performance and minimize long-term operating expenses.
Our growing design team is looking for a User Interface Designer who is excited about designing delightful usable and innovative applications.
Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces in Figma
- Comfortable delivering design artifacts to teams according to project schedules across multiple projects establishing clarity through open communication
- Work with User Experience User Research Information Architecture and other SMEs to understand user needs and incorporate this deep user understanding into interface designs
- Collaborate within an agile team to understand and contribute to user requirements
- Have an understanding of design system components be able to use components in your designs and contribute to design system components if needed
- This role is expected to be an active and autonomous part of our exceptionally collaborative team
A successful UI Designer on our team is:
- Passionate and excited about human-centered design and digital innovation up to date on latest technologies and design trends
- Has a thorough understanding of design as a discipline: understanding of brand elements color typography visual hierarchy information visualization curated use of imagery and illustration to tell a story by design
- Very collaborative in communicating and fully understanding design and interactive concepts and excited to work with a cross-functional team to bring delightful experiences to our users
- Open to feedback and able to provide feedback within a highly collaborative team of designers
- Empathetic toward users and curious about uncovering user needs
Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience preferred
- A portfolio of work is required for consideration
- A degree in a related field or a certification from a reputable organization
- Proficiency in Figma
- Experience working in an Agile environment preferred
- Experience with design for data visualization
- Knowledge of design for accessibility
