The Environmental Services Director is responsible for managing the housekeeping department at our Dove Healthcare - South Eau Claire location and the housekeeping and laundry departments at our Dove Healthcare - West Eau Claire location.
As the Environmental Services Director you will be responsible for:
- assigning monitoring and evaluating the daily tasks and job performance of the housekeeping and laundry staff
- developing adjusting and maintaining the work schedules of staff
- providing direction leadership and supervision to staff
- providing assistance to families and visitors
- ensuring the facility is maintained in a clean and sanitary condition according to department standards as well as state and federal regulations
- hiring orientating and training of new employees
- assisting as needed with the daily tasks in the housekeeping and laundry departments
- using critical thinking and problem solving techniques when managing responsibilities
- monitoring and implementing the departments budget to ensure appropriate utilization of resources
- coordinating the ordering delivery and distribution of supplies
Required Qualifications:
- applicants must be 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- related work and management experience is preferred
