JOB SUMMARY
The Engineering Intern will work closely with key departments including Operations Quality Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Continuous Improvement. This hands-on internship provides valuable exposure to the rail industry with the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects that drive operational excellence and innovation.
KEY PROJECTS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of automation solutions
Assist with efficiency improvement initiatives across operations
Participate in Kaizen event planning execution and follow-up
Contribute to visual management problem-solving activities and Gemba walks
QUALIFICATIONS
Currently pursuing a bachelors degree in Engineering Quality Organizational Development or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective written verbal and interpersonal communication skills
Well-organized with a keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Pay Range:
