About the Team & Office
Were offering a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate producer to join Sydneys newest Triple M afternoon Shows Triple M Rush Hour & Triple M Drive with Jarch & Lu. Our team thrives on creating standout content in a fast-paced high-energy and slightly chaotic (in the best way!) environment. If you love the buzz of live radio and can keep up with the pace this could be the perfect role for you. Youll be based at our vibrant World Square office just a five-minute walk from Town Hall Station right in the heart of Sydney.
A day in the life
As a producer on Triple M Rush Hour & Drive no two days are ever the same and thats exactly how we like it. Your afternoons will involve work closely with a passionate high-energy team to shape the show in real time. Youll be pitching fresh ideas booking engaging guests briefing talent and staying sharp as you respond to breaking news and trending stories. Youll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. Once the mics are off its all about planning whats next brainstorming future segments crafting creative moments and keeping the momentum going. Its fast fun and never boring.
What Youll Need
Proven experience producing live radio or working in a fast-paced media environment
Strong editorial judgement and a nose for what makes engaging on-brand content
Excellent communication and organisational skills youre calm under pressure and thrive on deadlines
Confident in booking talent briefing hosts and contributing creatively to show planning
Experience in talent management building strong relationships supporting on-air talent and anticipating their needs
A solid understanding of sport current affairs and what gets people talking
