As Senior Sous Chef you will play a crucial role within a dedicated and passionate brigade. Supporting the Head Chef you will help lead the team and oversee day-to-day kitchen operations ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality dishes across breakfast lunch afternoon tea and dinner services. This is a hands-on role ideal for an ambitious chef looking to further their career within an award-winning and forward-thinking environment.
Lead and manage the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
Ensure consistent quality and presentation across all sections and services.
Develop menus in line with seasonal produce and the venue s culinary direction.
Coach train and mentor junior members of the team to achieve excellence.
Maintain strong standards in food safety hygiene and allergen controls.
Work collaboratively with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Control stock minimise waste and support with kitchen cost-efficiency.
Experience in a Senior Sous Chef or strong Sous Chef role in a high-end kitchen.
A genuine passion for modern British cuisine and working with seasonal ingredients.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards under pressure.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on team development and morale.
Well-organised driven and committed to delivering an outstanding guest experience.
Flexible and adaptable to shift patterns including weekends and holidays.
