Job Description
Facility: Saint Francis Medical Center (SFMC)
Address: 3630 East Imperial Highway Lynwood CA 90262
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:19:00 - 07:30
Pay Rate: $67/hr (W2) $72/hr (1099)
Experience Required: 2 years in Labor and Delivery preferred
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process: assessment planning implementation and evaluation.
- Provide care for laboring and postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout their hospital stay.
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions with prompt interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Maintain clinical documentation in compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
- Ensure patient and visitor safety at all times.
- Utilize the chain of command when necessary for patient advocacy and care coordination.
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of California.
- BLS and NRP certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience preferred.
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM 7:30 AM).
- Traveler experience is a plus.
