Overview
The ICU Intensivist Consultant is a critical role within the healthcare system of Srinagar focusing on providing expert medical care to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of critically ill patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Manage ventilator support and complex airway interventions.
- Oversee the administration of sedation and analgesia.
- Lead the multidisciplinary team in daily rounds and case discussions.
- Monitor patient progress and modify care as needed.
- Perform invasive procedures such as intubation and central line insertions.
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams for optimal care.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities and emergency interventions.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and prognoses.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

- Train and mentor junior medical staff and fellows.

Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Critical Care or Internal Medicine.
- Board certification in Critical Care Medicine.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a critical care setting.
- Proven expertise in managing critically ill patients.
- Strong knowledge of ICU protocols and procedures.
- Exceptional clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Proficiency in advanced life support techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
