Job Description
Job Title: Registrar Gynecologist
Department: Obstetrics and Gynecology
Reports To: Consultant Gynecologist / Medical Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess diagnose and treat gynecological conditions.
- Perform surgical procedures such as laparoscopies and hysterectomies.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and compliant medical records.
- Educate patients on reproductive health and preventive care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
- Manage emergency cases effectively.
- Participate in clinical research protocol development and community outreach.
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Completed residency; board-certified or board-eligible.
- Valid medical license.
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills.
- Proficient in electronic health records and medical software.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and teamwork.
