Job Description
Job title: CMM Programmer
Reporting to: Senior Manager QC/QA
Location: Hyderabad
Responsibilities:
1. Operate CMM machines and maintain CMM work instructions for the set-up and inspection of parts.
2. Perform all programming of the CMM machines using ZEISS software from Model Based Definition and
2D drawing.
3. Analyze and interpret blueprints models evaluation sheets manuals and other materials to determine
specifications inspection and testing procedures adjustment and certification methods.
4. Collect and analyze inspection data and make computations as necessary to determine inspection
results and perform first article inspections.
5. Communicate information to others about inspection results part status updates specific instructions
etc. and participate in PFMEA activities.
6. Determines product suitability for shipment for company and customer
7. Work closely with Engineering on related issues including MSA Gage R-N-R and statistical studies
8. Plan and work as a key member of the production team to ensure high quality product and on time delivery.
9. Provide support for Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives companywide.
10. Other duties reporting special assignments or projects as needed and assigned
Knowledge & Experience:
1. 5-8 years of experience with Zeiss Calypso software required.
2. Ability to read and understand complex mechanical drawings and 3D Models
3. Functional understanding of GD&T and Math (including Algebra Geometry and Trigonometry)
4. 2 years manufacturing inspection experience
