Job Description
- Interpret and analyze diagnostic imaging studies.
- Provide consultations to referring physicians regarding imaging results.
- Conduct and oversee imaging procedures ensuring safety and efficacy.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop patient management plans.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings for treatment planning.
- Engage in continuous professional development and education.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.
- Mentor and train junior radiologists and medical residents.
- Respond to emergency cases requiring urgent imaging services.
- Assist in the development of radiology protocols and guidelines.
- Evaluate imaging equipment and technology for diagnostic efficiency.
- Prepare and present reports on imaging findings.
- Educate patients and their families about imaging procedures.
- MD or equivalent medical degree.
- DNB in Radio-Diagnosis or equivalent.
- DM in Radiology/Medical Imaging.
- State medical license to practice radiology.
- Completion of residency in Radiology.
- Fellowship training in a subspecialty (preferred).
- Board certification in Radiology (preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in diagnostic radiology.
- Proficiency in various imaging modalities.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous education.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
