Job Description: Service Engineer
Position: Service Engineer
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Experience: Freshers
Location: Tamilnadu Kerala
Salary: 2LPA
Job Responsibilities:
1. Perform installation troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical/mechanical systems at customer sites.
2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to wiring control panels and electrical components.
3. Read and interpret wiring diagrams schematics and technical drawings for service and repairs.
4. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and longevity.
5. Work with tools and equipment for cable harnessing panel wiring and component servicing.
6. Ensure proper routing crimping soldering and insulation of wires during maintenance and repairs.
7. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) safety guidelines and industry standards.
8. Provide technical support and training to customers on system usage and best practices.
9. Maintain service records prepare reports and communicate findings with the internal team.
10. Collaborate with the R&D or production team to suggest improvements based on field experience.
Key Skills & Requirements:
1. Strong understanding of electrical wiring control panels and troubleshooting techniques.
2. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams circuit layouts and technical manuals.
3. Hands-on experience with tools like crimpers multimeters oscilloscopes and soldering irons.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for diagnosing technical faults.
5. Strong communication and customer service skills for onsite support and guidance.
6. Familiarity with PLCs automation systems and industrial electrical standards is a plus.
7. Willingness to travel to customer locations for service and maintenance tasks.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls efficiently.
