We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage vendor relationships negotiate contracts and ensure the timely delivery of quality products on behalf of our client a regional electronics player based in Johor Malaysia. In this role you will evaluate suppliers track orders maintain purchase records and prepare cost analysis reports. Collaboration with warehouse staff for proper storage and addressing supplier issues promptly are key responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
Research potential vendors and evaluate suppliers.
Compare analysis and evaluate offers from suppliers.
Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
Review quality of purchased products.
Attending events shows and exhibitions to network with vendors and view new products if any.
Enter order/suppliers’ details (e.g. vendors quantities prices) into internal databases.
Maintain updated records of purchased products delivery information and invoices.
Prepare reports on purchases including cost analyses.
Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed.
Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage.
Inspecting purchased products upon delivery and feedback to supplier any issues timely if any.
Requirements:
Diploma or degree from any faculty with at least 3-5 years of working experience from similar role
Experienced on supply chain management will be advantage.
Experience on both direct material and indirect material.
