Job Description
TPF Recruitment Kent s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is proud to be recruiting for a wellestablished independent firm of chartered accountants in Folkestone Kent who are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant.
This is a broad general practice position offering exposure across accounts tax bookkeeping and VAT reporting directly to the Partner. You will work in a small and relaxed environment making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to maintain a healthy worklife balance while still enjoying strong career progression prospects.
You will be responsible for:
- Preparing statutory accounts to review stage
- Preparing personal and corporate tax returns and VAT returns
- Undertaking general bookkeeping duties using Sage Xero or QuickBooks
- Supporting mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members and trainees
Requirements
- You will have 5 years experience within an accountancy practice.
- You will be AAT / ACA/ ACCA qualified or qualified by experience.
- You will have hands on experience of accounts tax and VAT preparation.
- Parttime hours will also be considered.

You will be ACA/ACCA or qualified by experience with at least 3 years experience within practice. You will have worked as Semi Senior or Senior accountant within practice Experience of Iris and cloud software such as Xero/ Quickbooks would be advantageous
