Job Description
3 months contract with a local authority
Job Purpose
- We are looking for an experienced Review Officer with extensive housing knowledge and the ability to complete both Part 6 & 7 Housing Act 1996 reviews.
Key Duties/Accountabilities
- Carry out Part 6 & 7 Housing Act 1996 reviews
- The successful candidate will be able to work independently using their own initiative.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience of carrying out complex housing enquiries and producing well written legally sound decisions is essential as is the ability to liaise with solicitors and other representatives on a regular basis is essential.
Essential Qualification Required
- Good standard of education to include Maths and English GCSE Grade C and above or equivalent experience is essential.
Additional information to note
- Working hours: 35 hours per week.
- Basic DBS is required for the role.
