Job Description
Our team seeks a Vehicle Spray Painter that will be able to sign off on the final color including minor color adjustments to deliver a highquality paint finish for the customer. Complete paint jobs in accordance with processes and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain spray booths and equipment
- Prepare automotive surfaces for painting including sanding masking filling and priming.
- Apply highquality paint finishes using modern spraypainting equipment to restore or enhance vehicles.
- Perform precise color matching to achieve factoryquality results.
- Inspect vehicles postpaint to ensure compliance with quality standards and client expectations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition.
- Follow workplace health and safety regulations to create a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of five years as an Automotive Spray Painter in a repair or production environment.
- Skills:
- Expertise in surface preparation color matching and application techniques.
- Familiarity with various paint systems and application tools.
- Qualifications: A trade certificate in spray painting or automotive refinishing is highly desirable.
- Work Ethic: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality results.
- Teamwork: A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required.
